MAKAI is about endless possibilities, like the horizon on the sea - endless and without limitation. Ultimately, it's about making dreams and visions come true...

MAKAI was founded in 2023 by Alex Popoff after an extensive career working with luxury brands, celebrities and private individuals, working together to achieve excellence.

Although with a strong focus on private dining, events and curation of guest lists, it's impossible to compartmentalise what MAKAI is and does. Like the sea, it changes shape, expands and morphs, but one thing remains....

MAKAI is about excellence.

Alex has been my go-to Event planner for many years now. I knew from our initial conversations everything logistically will be locked down; on budget, on brief, on time with everything in hand

What sets Alex apart though is the crucial part of Event planning - the magic! Alex listens with great care and precise detail to put in place those other elements that create the intangible moments which take a good event into being a great memorable event. Alex brings and adds the magic to everything she does, her curation and creative thought process to get the right balance and mix whether its been an intimate gathering for 10 or an event for hundreds, everyone always feels they have been to something very special, something a bit different, something with heart and wonderfully it feels personal to them.

Our fees are as bespoke as our services

No two clients are the same, so no two fees should be either. We pride ourselves on getting the job done quickly, seamlessly and cost efficiently, so depending on the needs of the client, we have 3 ways of working...

Hourly rate for individual needs
Monthly retainer based on a set number of hours, for clients with regular requirements
Project by project basis - we understand things often need to be kept in budget, so we're happy to discuss this with you
